1. Provider and Scope
Thermogenius (sole trader, registration pending), email: privacy@thermogenius.app. These Terms of Service govern use of the web application thermogenius.app and all associated services.
2. Service Description
Thermogenius is an AI-powered recipe conversion service for Thermomix® users. The platform provides:
- Conversion of recipes into Thermomix®-compatible step-by-step instructions
- Generation of new recipes based on ingredients or preferences
- Storage and management of your personal recipes
- Guided cooking mode
3. Account Registration
Use of the service requires registration with an email address and password. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure. Sharing your account with third parties is not permitted.
4. Subscriptions and Pricing
Thermogenius offers a free tier with limited monthly conversions and paid subscriptions with expanded features. Current prices are shown on the pricing page. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in time.
5. Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)
As an EU consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of conclusion without giving reasons. The right of withdrawal expires early if the service has been fully performed at your express request before the end of the withdrawal period. Withdrawal by email: privacy@thermogenius.app
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the service. Prohibited activities include:
- Automated scraping or bulk extraction of content
- Uploading copyrighted content without permission
- Use for illegal purposes
- Circumventing usage limits
7. Intellectual Property
Recipes you input remain your property. AI-generated content may be used for personal purposes. Thermogenius reserves the right to use anonymised data to improve the service.
8. Limitation of Liability
AI-generated recipe steps and information are not guaranteed to be error-free. Use of the cooking mode and following instructions is at your own risk. Thermogenius is not liable for damage caused by incorrect recipe conversions or cooking instructions.
9. Availability and Changes
Thermogenius aims for high availability but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time. For material changes to these Terms, registered users will be notified by email.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by German law, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods (CISG).
11. Trademark Notices
Thermomix® and Cookidoo® are registered trademarks of Vorwerk SE & Co. KG. Thermogenius is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Vorwerk. Use of these trademarks is solely to describe the devices and platforms that Thermogenius is designed to support.
